Lord Coe commented:
"The increase in numbers of young people, particularly with disability or impairment, now being involved in sport has been dramatic, Wales has one of the best foundations for disability sport. Over the past few years, I”ve seen a lot of smart things happening in Wales, particularly in disability sport. I”ve always been incredibly impressed."

Roedd John Griffiths, y Gweinidog dros Ddiwylliant a Chwaraeon, a Laura McAllister, Cadeirydd Chwaraeon Cymru, hefyd yn bresennol ac roeddent yn hapus iawn â”r digwyddiad.

"Mae”r cynnydd yn nifer y bobl ifanc, yn enwedig ag anabledd neu nam, bellach yn cael eu cymryd rhan mewn chwaraeon wedi bod yn ddramatig, mae gan Gymru un o”r sylfeini gorau ar gyfer chwaraeon anabledd. Dros yr ychydig flynyddoedd diwethaf, yr wyf wedi gweld llawer o bethau smart digwydd yng Nghymru, yn enwedig mewn chwaraeon anabledd. Rydw i wedi cael argraff anhygoel bob tro. "
