A new opportunity has been added to Sport Cardiff VSB by Gemau Cymru, starts 05 July 2014


Gemau Cymru is a bilingual signature event for young people in the Welsh sporting calendar enhancing the performance pathway of Olympic, Commonwealth and Paralympic sports. It will provide an opportunity for talented young athletes to compete in a high profile multi-sport event while experiencing an athlete village environment.

This opportunity is to support and assist the Athletics competition which forms part of Gemau Cymru 2014.

Volunteers will be allocated a specific event to support and will work with senior officials and referees on the following tasks:

. Record and monitor results
. Take results to officials
. Organize competitors
. Installation, transportation and organization of equipment . Set up competing / playing area
. Set up marketing and branding equipment

*Volunteers will be required to attend a short training evening in order to volunteer at this event.

A new opportunity has been added to Sport Cardiff VSB by Sport Cardiff – Competitions/Events, starts 12 June 2014


In partnership with the police, Sport Cardiff are pleased to offer this competitve football opportunity to primary schools from the North and West of Cardiff.

Volunteers are required to support the event by refereeing the matches.

A new opportunity has been added to Sport Cardiff VSB by Vale Ladies & Girls Football Club, starts 17 April 2014


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be at the forefront of player development for one of Wales largest female football clubs.

The Vale Ladies & Girls Football Club is seeking to appoint a new coach for their U10 section which already has a pool of players that train on a weekly basis in the Barry area and play regular weekly matches on Sunday mornings in the South Wales Women’s & Girls League.

We are looking for a committed coach that has a passion for developing players. This role would suit a young aspiring coach looking to develop on the coaching pathway or an experienced coach looking for a new challenge volunteering for a progressive club.

A new opportunity has been added to Sport Cardiff VSB by Sport Cardiff – North, starts 23 June 2014


In celebration of Cardiff’s European Capital of Sport 2014 status, the first ever Cardiff Games Championships(Primary on 23rd June and Secondary on 24th June) will determine which school will be crowned the overall 2014 Cardiff Games Champions

Over each day schools will participate in 5 different sports (athletics, hockey, badminton, netball and football) and volunteers are needed to help ensure the championships run smoothyl, assisting specifically with the event logisitics and scoring on the day.

If you would like to help ensure the success of the first ever Cardiff Games Championships then it would be great to have your support!
