A new opportunity has been added to Sport Cardiff VSB by Race for Life – Cancer Research UK, starts 19 July 2014

Standard

We need inspiring and motivational volunteers to make a difference at Race for Life events this year.

Volunteers play a vital role at all our Race for Life 5k, 10k and Pretty Muddy events in Cardiff, carrying out a variety of roles.

Both men and women are encouraged to sign up to volunteer to support Race for Life. You don’t need any previous experience all we ask is that you donate your time to help us beat cancer sooner.

Volunteering at a Race for Life event is a great experience and has an atmosphere like no other. You will not only gain the satisfaction of knowing you’re truly making a valuable contribution to your local event, but you are also helping us to kick cancer’s butt!

We have three events this year in Cardiff, our usual 5k & 10k and a new event called Pretty Muddy, a 5k obstacle course which allows everyone to get well.. pretty muddy! Because of the number of events, we need more volunteers than ever. Please make sure you ask all your family and friends too.
