Do you want experience organising and running competitions and events? Do you want to manage other students? Do you want to work as an events manager? Can you plan and coordinate an event/competition successfully?

.The placement will give you the chance to gain valuable experience coordinating events for young people.
. Office and field based experience including the opportunity to observe and learn form experienced Sports Development officers within Sport Cardiff.
.Establish good relationships with teachers and national governing bodies, acting as a liaison to Sport Cardiff and responding appropriately to individual needs.
.Supporting the Sport Cardiff Olympic legacy programme "The Cardiff Games"

Your role will include supporting and developing the Sport Cardiff Olympic flagship legacy programme "the Cardiff Games". This includes coordination of a range of regional competitions including football, netball and other desired sports.


.Selection and booking of appropriate venues for the Cardiff Games. .Coordination and management of school invitations to the Games.
.Completing necessary paper work to support events (risk assessment, site plans, first aid) .Recruitment and selection of support staff and officials
