The festival runs from 11am – 4pm. Teams will start arriving from 10am.

The role would include pitch/festival management. Each age group will have a mini event coordinator.

To celebrate the Womens Champions League coming to Cardiff on Thursday 1st June, FAW will be running a club female tournament and fun festival. So we are looking for motivated volunteers to help run this festival, roles will include – Transport coordinators to organise the parking area
– Pitch management
– Festival stand management
This will be a fun and exciting experience to be a part of the Champions League coming to Cardiff!

Sport Cardiff is looking for positive and enthusiastic volunteers to help out at our Sport Cardiff stand at the Champions League Sports Village. We ask that you arrive at 9am to help with the site set up. We will also have a football pitch / kicking cage / battak & speed cage set up so you will be required to help run these various stations. This will be a fun and exciting experience as part of the Champions league coming to Cardiff.

A new opportunity has been added to Sports Hub Cardiff by Cardiff City FC Foundation, starts 10 May 2017

Cardiff City FC Foundation, supported by the FAW Trust run weekly South Wales PAN Disability centers (SWDDC) for gifted disabled players between the ages of 14 – 19. The sessions give player’s access to experienced coaches, high quality sessions and 6 – week assessments of all players. Players will then use the skills they have developed from these sessions to develop within their own club setting. The ultimate aim for players is to use the opportunities available in the SWDDC to progress onto the Welsh National Impairment Specific teams.

The SWDDC are looking for a volunteer to lead on weekly sessions and provide support for coaches and feedback to SWDDC manager within the Foundation. The lead will have the responsibility of coordinating the technical programme for the sessions as well as implementing interventions and producing assessments for players.

A new opportunity has been added to Sports Hub Cardiff by Always Aim High Events, starts 18 May 2017

Fitfun is a 10 week programme for families wanting to become healthier together. This programme has been designed by Families First Dietitians with input from families across Cardiff and delivered in partnership with Sport Cardiff.

Fitfun is for children above a healthy weight aged between 8-11 years. The programme includes 1 hour of physical activity which mainly consists of fun games and then 1 hour of nutritional support.

The volunteer role will involve assisting the coach with the physical activity sessions and assisting individuals who may need extra support to take part in the sessions. If you are interested in working with families to become more healthy then this role is for you.
