Gym and Junior has an opportunity for a gym supervisor and marketing assistant. The ideal candidate would be able to work from 2:45pm-5:30pm at least 3 days during the week. Primary responsibilities include staffing the gym and providing a welcoming atmosphere to members. The person would also be undertaking administrative duties such as updating the gym risk register, conducting tours of the facility, making marketing phone calls, etc. Minor tidying of the play area would also be required.

An exciting opportunity to assist with a Netball tournament at the House of Sport 3 and gain valuable volunteer experience in events management, officiating and public relations. The event will be focused for Year 5 and 6 primary school children with the opportunity for the winner to automatically be entered into the Cardiff Games.

The following roles are as follows:
– Officiating x3: will need experience in officiating matches or has a good knowledge of the netball rules (whistles will be provided)
– Scorers x2: They will be taking notes of the scores and providing them to event admin after each match.
– Events admin x2: This will require a register of schools that have come to the event, schools know what is happening, supplying a booklet with times and matches, and keeping track of the points and league table.
