Fitfun is a 10 week programme for families wanting to become healthier together. This programme has been designed by Families First Dietitians with input from families across Cardiff and delivered in partnership with Sport Cardiff.

Fitfun is for children above a healthy weight aged between 8-11 years. The programme includes 1 hour of physical activity which mainly consists of fun games and then 1 hour of nutritional support.

The volunteer role will involve assisting the coach with the physical activity sessions and assisting individuals who may need extra support to take part in the sessions. If you are interested in working with families to become more healthy then this role is for you.

We are looking to recruit some enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to support and run a Primary School Netball Competition.

Throughout the day of the event, volunteers will be asked to umpire each of the games and also help teams to ensure they are at the correct match at the required time. Volunteers may also be asked to assist with the photography on the day.

A good idea of the game of ‘High 5’ Netball is required, however a coaching or umpiring qualification is not necessary, but it is important that you are confident with decision making.

If you are passionate about the game of Netball or you just enjoy encouraging young children to participate in sport then this is a great opportunity for you to take part in.

Together let’s create a fun and enjoyable Netball tournament for all!
