We are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help assist the running of this mixed competition to ensure all participants have a fun and enjoyable day.

Throughout the day volunteers will be asked to assist teams, ensuring they are in the right place at the right time for their matches. They may also be asked to take pictures of participants, referee (if willing too) and ensure all participants are happy and enjoying the tournament.

No experience is necessary but an interest and basic knowledge on football.

Lets create a fun and enjoyable football tornament for all- come and join us spread a love for football.

Volunteers Reach 20,000 Hours Mark!

Volunteers have reached 20,000 logged hours through the Sports Hub Cardiff. – The Sports Hub Cardiff (formerly known as the Sport Cardiff VSB) is a legacy from the London 2012 Games and has proved to be an effective tool in facilitating volunteering the the field of sport.

Whether that be through helping out on a local club”s committee, taking photographs at matches, coaching the team, or assisting spectators at a major sporting event – the range of opportunities is broad, but one thing that remains the same is the fantastic commitment and enthusiasm shown by volunteers in Cardiff.

The Girls Together female social running group at Splott has been operating since September 2015. We have a group of 10 ladies who have undertake a running journey in the past 18 months which started from aiming to complete 2K a week and has progressed to a number of half marathon runners. This year we have already recruited 9 new members and we are looking for a volunteer to support the existing running leader. No previous experience or qualifications required – just an ability to run!
