‘Gemau Cymru’ is Welsh for the ‘Welsh Games’.

We are recruiting volunteers to support this year’s event across a wide range of sports including Weightlifting, Canoeing, Athletics, Badminton, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Netball, Table Tennis, Rugby, Indoor rowing and triathlon. This years event runs across the first weekend in July (1st – 3rd).

Gemau Cymru is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in some great junior level sport and making new friends and meeting new people.

We are searching for keen and enthusiastic volunteer marshals, stewards and transition staff to assist with the Cardiff Triathlon. Roles vary, but its general participant support, pointing participants in the right direction as well as some crowd control.

Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and packed lunch as well as a voucher for their time. Session 1 volunteers will receive a £75 voucher, with other sessions receiving £25. We can also give cash to a charity or club in stead of the voucher.
